Pattern Description:

I am often inspired by music to create some rather interesting designs. In this case, I was inspired by a song about murder. Though the song makes references to a kitchen knife, I prefer more dramatic, midieval weapons. ;)

In this lesson you'll learn to make a pendant that looks like a sword. By altering the length and width of the blade you can also use the same technique to create a dagger.

Materials:

5 3/4 inches 18g round wire (dead soft or half hard)
13 inches 20g round wire (dead soft or half hard)
14 inches 20g half round wire (half hard)
3 1/2 feet 28g round wire (dead soft)
1 Swarovski Crystal rose montee or 1 3-4mm bead

You Will Also Need:

Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Wire cutters
Flat nose pliers
Metal bench block
Metal hammer
Needle file
Cup bur (wire rounder) (optional. The needle file works for this as well)
