Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Running stitch

Pattern Description:

This design was created when I was experimenting with accessible introductions to the medium of Soutache (June 2013). It documents an accessible way of approaching one of the key structures in Soutache - using the beading foundation to give more control over placement of cords and beads. The novelty in this structure is the addition of a bail.
The design was completed in September 2013 - with the addition of a complementary chevron braid - for the Beading Gems Soutache Challenge.
