Basic Skills Necessary:

  • It would help to have basic metal sawing skills, but I give a lot of tips for beginners to practice sawing.
  • Ability to attatch jump rings and finish pendant into necklace.

Pattern Description:

I always love color, and flowers, and trees... this pendant is a celebration of all three.

In this tutorial, you will learn techniques to make your own flowering tree pendants. You can change the colors, or the types of flowers you use, or the shape of your pendant, and totally change the look of your trees; all these make each piece very unique, and very much your own.
I will teach you how to skillfully plan your cutout design so that it works, and how to cut it into the metal with accuracy. I will also teach you how to apply the colors, and properly seal them, so that they are protected from wear. You can utilize these techniques to create other pieces as well. All the techniques in this tutorial are very versatile and come in handy to have in your bag of tricks as a jewelry creator! Make bracelets, earrings, links, or let your imagination run wild and make a whole forest!
