Basic Skills Necessary:

  • peyote stitch
  • netting

Pattern Description:

Use odds and ends of seed beads and quickly stitch up this fun little necklace slider. They look fabulous in sets of three or more on a herringbone or right angle weave rope.

You should be comfortable with peyote stitch, and should be able to stitch firmly since the structure of he slider relies at least in part on tight thread tension.

This is a companion slider to the Ball Slider (pattern sold separately), shown in the last picture.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • large hole, about 6mm
  • about 1/4" high
  • about 1" diameter


  • 4mm fire-polished beads (9)
  • Japanese size 11 seed beads, 2 colours, A and B (less than 1g each)
  • Japanese fringe beads or small magatamas (9)
  • Beading needle
  • Beading thread
