A photo tutorial in 19 pages. You can make a pendant, earrings or even a ring. In order to make it, you need an octagon cabochon (adjust the number of beads you start with, depending of the size of your cabochon. It must be a number divisible by 4).
The original pattern was made for a contest. At that time I used 17 mm vintage german glass cabochons in limited edition. Unfortunately it was stolen.. What makes this pattern special is that octagon cabochons are not easy to find (at least for me) and they vary in sizes, color, material, etc. According to that, every time you will have different results. I love that idea and I find the finished pieces very elegant.
A project that requires a minimum familiarity with the basic techniques but it could also be an excellent occasion for beginners eager to prove themselves.
