- Knowledge of the proper method to open and close jump rings without distortion
Pattern Description:
This tutorial will teach you to construct the flower chainmaille weave. This is a weave suitable for even beginners to chainmaille and is so versatile! Just look at the other pics to the right to see some of the jewelry that I have created with this beautiful chain.
The last photo shows the beautiful effect that can be achieved by combining this weave with the Byzantine Chain weave.
Tutorial is 5 pages long and consists of 14 clear pictures with text detailing the process of constructing this chain.
Materials:
- 2 pairs of smooth jawed pliers (I use one flat nose and one chain nose)
- precut jump rings in one of the recommended sizes
You Will Also Need:
- clasp to complete the chain and form a bracelet or necklace
