Pattern Description:

I needed a butterfly for my necklace with roses, so I was creating different butterflies. This one was too big once I made it, so I will use it for some other project :) You can make it as a brooch, pendant, hair barrette or detail for the necklace of bracelet.

The butterfly on the picture was made for this precise tutorial. It is 10 cm (4") in the widest place and 7.5 cm (~3") high. It is made of 11/0 and 10/0 seed beads using peyote and herringbone stitch. I've used black pearl for the head & small agate beads for the eyes. Tutorial is meant for advanced beaders, however, the instructions are clear enough, so I believe that even talented beginners could manage.
