Pattern Description:

This technique based tutorial shows step by step how to create this hand stitched tiara - designed for 'Something borrowed, something blue' (Absolute Beads Challenge, March 2013). Materials required include tiara, 6 mm bicones or firepolish beads, 4 mm bicones, 4 mm pearls and seed beads (size 10/11).

This tutorial is accessible to a beginner. The first half of the tutorial outlines how to construct the beadwork strip using fireline. The second half illustrates how to attach the beadwork to the tiara base using 26 gauge wire.
