I started beading after college and have been beading ever since. After using patterns from other people, I began to branch out, designing my own necklaces, hair decorations, and 3-D animals (here be dragons).
I have taught a few classes locally in Las Vegas but I enjoy creating more advanced projects that can't be done is a couple hours. So I decided to publish my patterns for you all to enjoy.
Many of my designs are medieval or Gothic looking and will go great with costumes for re-enactors and belly dancers.
Slipperywitch is a beautiful reversible design. It uses different sized beads in a curved right angle weave pattern that can be embellished with crystals for added bling. Familiarity with single needle right angle
weave is advised.
This reversible necklace can be worn in many ways. You can wear it on the crystal side, the black side, or you can mix the 2 sides for more variety. Each individual motif can be rotated so you can wear the necklace in different color patterns. The side segments can be stabilized if desired, but the necklace is designed for flexibility and this flexibility is what makes it so much fun.
This designed is named after one of my favorite waterfalls in North Carolina - Slipperywitch. I lovje waterfalls and name many of my designs after falls I have visited. Enjoy!
