Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Materials to make an 18" necklace

  • FireLine beading thread - I used 6lb thread
  • Long beading needle - I like size #12
  • 11/0 seed beads x (3) colors
  • (30) 3mm round beads - I used glass fire polished beads
  • (12) 6mm round beads - I used glass Swarovski pearls
  • (1) Donut stone - I used 40mm donuts from Fusion Beads
  • 22 gauge German jewelry wire
  • (6) Bead tips - I used the "bottom clamp-on" bead tips like these: http://www.firemountaingems.com/itemdetails/H206534FD
  • (6) Cones - I used 9x12mm cones from Shipwreck Beads. You want to make sure that your cones are no shorter then 12mm because they will need to cover your bead tips. If you use longer cones, you may need to adjust the lengths of your beaded strands.
  • Clasp of your choice - lobster claw and jump ring, toggle, etc.
  • Round nose pliers
  • Chain nose pliers
  • Flush cutter
