Pattern Description:

From pendants to fine art, literature to songs, key symbolism permeates cultures worldwide.

A small piece of shaped metal, with incisions cut to fit a particular lock.
The key is an object symbolic of opening and closing powers. Providing or preventing access.
It represents knowledge, mystery, curiosity, life and love.

To the ancient Greeks, a single key represents knowledge and life.
A set of three keys worn together is said to unlock the doors of wealth, health and love.

La Chiave - The Key - is formed from a glittery crystal bow and shaft. Shimmering Swarovski special effects crystal rivolis are bezelled and embellished with more sparkling crystals. The shaft features a row of crystals ending with a Czech spike. The blade of the key is a Czech gumdrop. A glittering and magnificent representation of the all-powerful key.

La Chiave is double-sided and can be worn long or short suspended from a modified cubic right angle weave flat rope reminiscent of the Omega chain of fine jewelry. An embellished second bail provides added interest and sparkle to this powerful symbol of knowledge, mystery, curiosity, life and love.

They have the most beautiful colors and designs and I wanted a pair of my own. Once I made the first pair, then a second, then a third. Then I discovered other kinds of ...
