Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • If you have a little experience in handling wire, such as making a loop, a spiral, hardening wire, you can follow these instructions.
  • The best results will be achieved with Sterling Silver or Gold Filled Wire but you can also use Copper or artistic type craft wire.
  • MATERIALS
  • 21 g or 22 g (.75 mm or .65 mm) Square dead soft wire or half hard wire.
  • 20 g (.81 mm) square wire is the maximum.
  • Note: not all persons are comfortable with 20g earwires
  • Sterling or Gold filled wire is preferable. Optional round or artistic type craft wire
  • Approx. 28 inches of wire or 72 cm ( each earring 14 inches or 36 cm)

Pattern Description:

Learn to make a Sweet, Neat, Petite pair of classically styled Earrings from a single piece of wire. Adapt the same basic instructions to make a matching Pendant. Instead of forming an ear wire as demonstrated in the basic tutorial, finish with an eye loop and you have a drop you can use to enhance other jewelry.
It is a simple tutorial, but there are a few important tips along the way.... especially important if you are quite new to wire wrapping. Thanks.
