Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to straighten your wires and how to correctly open and close a loop.

Pattern Description:

With this lesson you will learn how to model a beautiful pair of Kite Earrings, as shown in the listing pictures.
You will also learn how to make your own eye pins (eye pins are head pins with a loop at one end).

WAIT! There is also my little GIFT waiting for YOU to enjoy it!
This tutorial comes with a little BONUS enclosed: within the Optional Step 3, I am teaching you how to hammer your kite earring frames, in order to add texture and a lovely, polished look to it.

The design lends itself very well to endless color variations so it is only up to you whether you want to limit yourself to the creation of my kite earrings using only the materials that I have used or, you want to let your creativity take over and play with different sorts of wire (copper, bronze, gold filled, silver filled, sterling silver, etc.) and choose various gemstone beads to create lots of beautiful earrings, each with its own charm and loveliness.

This design also makes a great pendant if you attach the kite frame to a simple jump ring and hang it on a chain or leather cord of your choice.

The tutorial is filled with information, tips and advices on "how to", all these supported by 34 clear pictures (mainly close-ups) and a Diagram with relevant explanations right beside them, spread along 5 main steps, within 13 pages. The pictures can be magnified at least 300% with clarity.

Please carefully read all tutorial pages before starting to make your own beautiful jewelries!!!
The dimensions given in Imperial System are approximate!!!

For further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me through Craftsy. You may rest assured that I will gladly assist you to the best of my abilities.

I hope you will enjoy the lesson!
