In this tutorial you'll learn how to weave a pair of lime butterfly earrings with crystal bicones and seed beads. Beading is made easy with these step-by-step instructions and full color illustrations.
Months ago, I noticed a few tiny round balls which looked like white seed beads on my lime plant. Days later, those white 'beads' strangely disappeared. Then I saw little creepy crawlies resembling bird-droppings munching on the fresh new leaves of my plant. Out of curiosity, I brought them indoor and fed them generously with my citrus leaves. It was a great pleasure watching their development. After about three weeks, a couple of beautiful black-spotted yellow fluttering butterflies emerged! Almost immediately, I released them back into the garden. What remained are these cute beaded butterflies earrings that I've made out of 4mm bicones. My butterflies measure 2x2 cm wide.
