Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Micro-macrame knotwork
  • Using a hot glue gun
  • Working with thin gauge wire

Pattern Description:

Spring is coming! Create your own flock of these darling, sparkly micro-macrame dragonflies to celebrate!
This micro-macrame dragonfly pin features four types of macrame knots: the Diagonal Double Half Hitch, the Overhand Knot, the Lark's Head Knot and the Square Knot.


  • 2 4mm Swarovski Bicones, Dark Indigo AB
  • 4 5mm Czech Fire-polished Beads in Medium Green
  • 8 4mm Czech Fire-polished Crystals in Light Blue
  • 2 8/0 Hex Beads in Green
  • 5 5x7mm Crystal Drops in Teal
  • 1 8x12mm Lime Green Pear Crystal Drop
  • 1 tube 11/0 Seed Beads Miyuki in Green/Blue/Gold
  • 1 3.8cm Pin Backing OR 1 2.5cm Pin Backing
  • 60cm of thin gauge wire, 28 or 30 gauge
  • 15 60cm lengths of Medium Blue S Lon cord

You Will Also Need:

  • Fray Check OR Clear Nail Polish
  • 10 Straight Pins
  • Needle-Nose Pliers
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun or other type of glue
