This pattern came about after seeing a bracelet on a calendar. After experimenting with peyote stitch and netting I came up with this pattern. The base is made with two drop peyote stitch then the embellishment is done with the netting stitch. Then the crystals are added to the sides.
This method of embellishing over the base makes the bracelet a more solid bracelet.
Make one for each day of the week or for each one of those special outfits.
My grandmother first taught me how to sew at the age of 4. That was the beginning by the time I was 6 I was making quilt tops from my own patterns. I then started learning every craft I could find.
I now design cross stitch, jewelry and other crafts and teach crafts to young and old.
The next step in my progress will be to try and open a craft supply store in my hometown.
