Type:

Bracelet

Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic beading skills are needed (how to end the thread), the rest is shown on detailed photos

Pattern Description:

This lesson shows how to make elegant bangle: 6mm round beads and size 11 beads are woven together to create stunning gemstone overlay an a grid of seed beads. Beauty of chosen beads remains uncovered!, Bangle looks exquisite alone but you can wear more than one or together with other thin bracelets.

Can be completed within one evening even by inexperienced beader. All you need are specified beads and voila!

You do not need wire - it is self-supporting bangle.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • You can adjust the size during first steps; tutorial includes detailed instruction how to do it.

Materials:

  • 6mm round beads; number of pieces depend on length. Divide required length in mm by 0.6 and add 4 to appraise required number of beads. Important! Round beads should have holes large enough to pass the needle with thread 4-5 times (1mm)
  • Size 11 seed beads in two colors (A " main color; 10g) and (B " accent color; 2g). One color can be used (both are not necessary from technical point of view) but as you will see; it is much easier to make the bracelet using accent beads.
  • Fireline or other similar thread (highly recommended as more resistant to sharp edges or rough spots on your beads then other nylon threads).
  • Size 10 beading needle
  • Scissors
