A hand embroidery pattern that features an antique Victorian style baby carriage embroidered with lavender hand dyed silk floss and accented with ivory colored beads. Very cute for a new little one!
This hand embroidery pattern measures 5 1/4" x 6" and is easily transferred to fabric using any of the handy methods available in craft and sewing stores, a light box or a window. The pattern uses very simple embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch, lazy daisies and french knots. I used hand dyed silks in lavender purple with a little pink and a few beads for sparkle. A fun and quick pattern that can be easily finished with sewing or framing as seen in the sample photos.
Very nice design for a baby's nursery!
This includes a photo page, hand embroidery pattern, stitching instructions and supply suggestions.

I began sewing as a young girl in 4-H and my mother and grandmothers all liked to sew. I have a lovely collection of quilts from one of my grandmothers and crocheted afghans from my other grandmother. I love to draw and do needlework so when my children were little and I was staying home with them I decided to design my own patterns and greeting cards. I have a web site that shows all of my patterns and links to other items I make with my illustrations. www.countrygardenstitchery.comView all patterns by designer (106) »
