I have yet to find the directions to making the case itself or is there no pattern for that or the embroidery? I can follow the pattern from the pics but don't have a pattern for a glass case.

Sorry to hear you are having problems.
Just checked the pattern and on page 5 you will see the basic instructions to make the case up. Each side is stitched right sides together with it's lining leaving a gap to turn through at the base, no need to close this as it will happen as you join the two sides together.
Once done, place the two sides together lining to lining with right sides out and join either with an embroidery stitch or using a beading needle and a whip stitch with 3 beads on each stitch.
Any problems let me know and I can resend pattern or make anything clearer.
