Artist, wife, mother, nana. Living the dream in a cottage in the woods with the love of my life and our dogs. I am a former Needlecraft Designer, Illustrator and Graphic Designer. I knit constantly and always many projects at once.
I love dolls and still have my Madame Alexander Kitten doll, she is 3 months sized and over 50 years old! I loved putting real baby clothes on her (still do). My newborn sized Whimsy Kids and Whimsy Baby dolls are my own original pattern, designed through much trial and error to fulfill my desire to offer quality handmade dolls that can wear newborn or preemie sized clothes, wardrobe options are limitless and a bargain! No vinyl, no plastic, no batteries, they run on love and hugs! Currently woking on both knitting and sewing patterns for dolls that wear the popular 18" girl doll clothes.
Baby's First dolls and WhimsyBuddy dolls are also my own pattern, designed to be super soft, baby/toddler safe, light weight, grab-able, washable and appealing to moms and little ones alike.
HugKnits evolved from my daughter's devotion to her Fisher Price Blanket Bunny (remnants of which went to college with her) and her desire to have one for her baby. Once Cheeky Bunny was done I just couldn't stop…still going! Also working on other stuffed toy patterns using the same look of the popular HugKnits lovies.
