"When I was your age, television was called books. And this is a special book. It was the book my father used to read to me when I was sick, and I used to read it to your father. And today, I'm gonna read it to you..."
And so begins our favourite movie - we've always been suckers for a good fairy tale and in our humble opinions there isn't one any better than The Princess Bride. Whether it's the overblown rhetoric of Vezzini, the sheer sliminess of Prince Humperdink, the comedic big-heartedness of Fezzik, the all-consuming need for revenge of Inigo, or the heart-warming love story of Buttercup and Wesley, there's something for everyone in this classic tale.
This cross-stitch pattern comes with a full colour chart with floss legends in DMC, JP Coats, and Anchor, although of course all colours can be replaced as per the stitcher's preference.
