This pattern was designed for a mini whitework quilt. It is circular in shape and could easily be used as a small tree skirt, a table topper, or a circular pillow.
The owls have large design areas that could also be done in fusible fabrics or standard applique methods for a very quilty style.
The pattern is a line drawing and could easily be reduced or enlarged to be any size circle you desire.
The design is for 1/4 of the full circle so that it fits nicely on standard size printing paper. Print four and rotate the 2-4 pages to form the entire finished design.

Hi, do you love to create beautiful embroidered, quilted, crocheted or hand sewn items? Me too! I've been teaching quilting for the past 30 years and fell in love (seriously in love!) with crazy quilts just a few years back. My first book, Embellishing Crazy Quilts, contains dozens and dozens of seam treatment diagrams and embroidery designs. I also love to add silk ribbon and bead to my works. It became very frustrating as a teacher to reference good instructional material for silk ribbon embroidery and other techniques. So, I now design and create my own stitch guides, templates, and patterns. I hope you will find something here on my Craftsy site that you like. Some are free as instructional handouts...and some are for a minimal fee to offset the cost of my time and supplies. I truly hope you find all of these enjoyable!View all patterns by designer (12) »
