Keep Calm and Cross Stitch

from City Stitcher
(10) Name: 'Embroidery : Keep Calm and Cross Stitch
Keep Calm and Cross Stitch
Keep Calm and Cross Stitch

Pattern Description:

I love cross stitching but have been really frustrated with the lack of designs that are modern and relevant. I want to stitch projects that are fun and colorful and relate to my interests in fine art and pop culture and have a sense of humor whenever possible.

"Keep Calm and Cross Stitch" says it all. Designed after the popular "Keep Calm" posters from WWII-era England, this has now become a meme that has launched thousands of satiric and funny imitations. The finished product is perfect for framing or as a throw pillow for your favorite chair where you like to stitch and stay calm (just remember to leave at least 2 inches on every side for seams or frame wrapping).
