With this pattern you'll take Houndstooth beyond the traditional menswear textile, splashing bold hand embroidery and sparkling beading across home decor and fashion pieces.

Your download includes complete patterns and instructions for Houndstooth hand embroidery, and the Houndstooth hand-beading-on fabric variation.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Embroider or bead anything you like! Your Houndstooth Accent Pillow is 12" x 16"

Materials:

  • Item(s) to be embellished. For Embroidery: Yarn or floss. For Beading: Two colors of glass bugle beads, super-strong specialty beading thread. For Pillow: 1 yard off-white cotton duck (or similar) fabric, 3" of off-white, sew-on, hook-and-loop tape (optional), 12" x 16" Pillow Insert, sewing machine, off-white sewing machine thread.

You Will Also Need:

  • Hand sewing needles and needle threader, embroidery hoop or frame, sharp fabric and embroidery scissors, straight pins, scotch tape, Iron with steam setting, white pressing cloth or clean, white cotton dish towel, ironing board.
