small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic embroidery stitches including stem stitch, back stitch, lazy daisy and French knots

Pattern Description:

A hand embroidery pattern featuring three cute wisemen in a primitive style bearing gifts standing near a little spindly decorated tree. It says "Good Tidings We Bring". Fun pattern for the holidays!

The pattern measures 5" x 6" and is easily transferred using any of the handy methods available in craft/sewing stores, light box or the handy window. Very simple stitches used in the pattern with stem stitch, back stitch and satin stitches. I used just one hand dyed variegated floss in my sample, but the you can choose colors to fit a project you have in mind or to match your home. It would look great in redwork too! Great pattern to use flosses from your stash.

An easy size pattern to finish with sewing, quilting or framing. I made the model into a pillow for holiday decorating. Very nice Christmas home decor or a gift for someone special.

This comes with a photo page, hand embroidery pattern, stitching instructions and supply suggestions.

  • 9" x 10" piece of fabric to embroider on
  • embroidery floss
