Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic cross stitch required but full instructions provided.

Pattern Description:

A bevy of super sweet Babushkas from Cupcake Cutie.

Stitch them together or individually they would be great adorning bags and tea towels etc - it is perfect for brightening up your home.

In the photo I have stitched the design using waste canvas onto white cotton.

This pattern is suitable for both cross stitch and tapestry as the pattern is based on a grid system with one square equalling one stitch.

You can stitch on any size aida/canvas that suits you.
Each doll itself measures 34 stitches wide by 59 stitches high at its widest and highest points.
The whole design measures 140 x 140 stitches.

You will receive all the details you need to start stitching including a full colour chart, key, notes on fabric size and quantity of thread etc

I have included the DMC colours as a reference but of course you could easily change all the colours and any combination would look fabulous.

This is a great project to use up all those left over threads that we stitchers always seem to end up with!

You will require Adobe reader to open the files which is available free from

Please note this pattern is for personal use only and is not for resale.

However feel free to sell complete projects using this pattern - it would be great if you could include a credit to and I would love to put photos of your completed projects on my blog!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:
