Pattern Description:

Before I had my children I was a teacher. I still substitute teach when I'm not volunteering in school or designing patterns. "A Teacher Takes a Hand" is dedicated to all of those special educators who positively change the lives of their students.

This stitchery pattern is an easy project for beginners to advanced stitchers. Make it for that special educator in your life.

This PDF pattern includes a color photo of the finished design, a black and white pattern to trace, instructions and floss list based on my stitched sample.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader (get it free on the internet) to use this file/

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The finished size of this design is 8 1/2" x 7".


  • muslin fabric, backing fabric, embroidery hoop, embroidery floss, your favorite stitching needle.

You Will Also Need:

  • You will need a writing utensil to trace your pattern. I like to use a .005 micron pen.
