  • Basic Stem Stitch
  • Basic Lazy Daisy

Pattern Description:

This darling little pattern is a quick and fun project that you can use as a homemade gift tag, an ornament, or a miniature quilt.

Materials:

  • 2 Fat Quarters - or scraps from your stash
  • Scrap batting
  • 906F Pellon
  • Sewing Thread
  • Box of Crayola Crayons
  • Pigma Micron Pen -- 005 or 01 (005 makes finer lines)
  • Embroidery Needles -- choose a size (7-10)
  • Embroidery Thread - Single Strand, or Sulky Rayon Thread
  • 1/2 yd. of Christmas Ribbon (gold or silver metallic)

You Will Also Need:

  • Scissors
  • Iron
  • Smooth flat work surface
  • Lightbox, sunny window, or a glass table with a lamp -- tracing pattern to fabric
  • double-hole pencil sharpener for crayons
  • paper towels
  • painter's tape
