Pattern Description:

Meet Vera the Ladybug!

This cutie proves that crawlies don't have to be icky... they can be down-right adorable! Vera measures 4" long when crocheted with a worsted weight yarn... but use any thickness of yarn to make her bigger or smaller!

Gauge:

Gauge isn't terribly important... as long as you're using a hook to get a nice-looking fabric, you're good to go!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4" long

Materials:

  • Size H (5.0mm) hook, or size to get a nice-looking fabric
  • 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic used in the sample): black (50 yards), red (25 yards) and white (10 yards)
  • A pair of 12mm plastic craft eyes
  • polyester stuffing
  • Tapestry needle
