Smiling Santa

from Amigrammy
(4) Name: 'Crocheting : Smiling Santa
Smiling Santa Santa

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Single and double crochet, crochet in round

Pattern Description:

I first made a version of this lovely Santa as a Christmas tree topper back in the days when we were on such a budget we couldn't buy a fancy topper. Santa became so well loved in our family that versions of him now appear on the trees of both of my sons. I've modified Santa to make him a plush, cuddly doll.

Don't worry about Santa's beard! It's easy to do, and a how-to photograph and instructions are included in the pattern.

Santa could also be made as a tree topper for your home by substituting DK or sport weight yarn.
