Helloooo! I'm currently working hard toward becoming an elementary school teacher (my #1 passion) -- I've been taking classes, working as a substitute teacher, volunteering as a Girl Scout leader, studying for exams, volunteering at an elementary school, and working as a group tutor. In between all of this, I try to remember to BREATHE and make some time to get away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. In these moments, I dive into another passion of mine -- creating. Whether I'm crocheting, sewing, sculpting, drawing, or painting, the act of creating something unique and special is rejuvenating and rewarding. I've fallen head over heels with amigurumi (the Japanese art of crocheting/knitting cute, anthropomorphic creatures) for a few years now, and the process of designing/creating new soft sculptures has brought me great happiness. Each creation means a lot to me, so I hope that my designs bring the same joy to you and your loved ones. :)View all patterns by designer (18) »
Several designers from around the world got together to work with Joke Vermeiren (a graphic designer/publisher in Belgium) to create a pattern book filled with super cute animals. In 2012, our first indie project, a book called Zoomigurumi, was born! :D
You can find the entire book on Joke's website or on amazon. Here are the links:
