This is "Halloween Silhouettes" a vintage-inspired little dress with black cat silhouette appliques and a cute little toy cat. Your 10-12 inch doll will be the belle of the Halloween ball!

Silhouettes on dress: 12 sc = 1 inch; 12 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

Toy cat: 6 sc = 1 inch; 8 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • fits 10-inch Bitty Bethany by Kish
  • fits 10-inch Patsy and Ann Estelle by Tonner
  • fits 12-inch child doll by Effner


  • Red Heart Luster Sheen yarn (4 oz/335 yds/113g per skein): #0227 Buttercup, #0002 Black (may substitute two strands of Aunt Lydia's bamboo thread, Herrschners afghan yarn, or other size 2-Fine yarn)
  • DMC Size 8 perle cotton (87 yds/80m per ball): #0310 Black
  • Size D and E crochet hooks and size 5 steel crochet hook, or sizes needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sewing needle

You Will Also Need:

  • Sewing thread: black and yellow
  • Size 2/0 snap fasteners: 2
  • 1/4-inch-wide black buttons: 2
  • straight pins
  • 1/4-inch-wide lt. yellow-green beads: 2
  • 3/8-inch-wide yellow-green silk ribbon: 10 inches
