It was cute enough that I splurged and bout the Lola the cow pattern for a whopping $4 hope I didn't break the bank ;) I even bought Nanook the Husky. Seriously people her part of the pattern is free. She can't take someone else's work and make it hers. so just deal with it and either buy the cow pattern or figure out how to work it with out the pattern. it's really not that hard to do.

This is false advertising. FREE is FREE in my book.

I'm sorry you are unhappy. But I couldn't mark it with a price without charging something and I didn't want to do that. I've changed that now.

Is it supposed to be free now? It is still showing as being $1 - NZ$1.21. I don't mind to pay that if the pattern is step by step and it is not available free. B
ut it was advertised as being free as well.

No. The modification was free before. People complained so the owner of the original pattern instructed me to put it up for a dollar and she agreed to put a discount on the required base pattern. The modification for Lola the Cow to make Emily the Giraffe is $1. Lola is $3 with Emily or $4 without her.

Doesn't help to offer a "free" pattern when you have to purchase another pattern to make this one work.

I agree-this is just a picture and list not any directions!

Are there no step by step instructions in the pattern?

feels more like a 'rip off' than any kind of deal. Too bad cuz its really cute...but if this is the way they are going to offer 'free' things...ill spend my money else where...and most definitely NOT look for this any further patterns offered by this person.

What yarn was used to get the rose pattern on the Giraffe?

The yarn used to get the rose pattern is Bernat Baby Jacquards Rosebud. There are three different flower pattern colors in this series, Pink, Blue, Orange, and Purple. Enjoy!
