Pattern Description:

This is "Chocolate Bunnies," an Easter dress with bunny appliques and a hat for your 10-12" doll. It requires quite a lot of meticulous work, but in the end, you will have an heirloom quality outfit!

Dress: 8 sc = 1 inch; 10 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

Bunnies: 10 sc = 1 inch; 10 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Fits 10 to 13-inch child doll, such as Bitty Bethany by Kish, Ann Estelle and Patsy by Tonner, and Little Darlings by Effner
  • Bunnies stand 1 1/2 inches tall


  • Size 10 crochet cotton: 150 yds periwinkle, small amount white
  • DMC Size 8 perle cotton (87 yds/80m per ball): 1 ball #0300 Very Dark Mahogany
  • Size B/1/2.25mm crochet hook and size 3 steel crochet hook, or sizes needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sewing needle
  • Sewing thread: periwinkle, yellow, dark brown

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 3/0 snap fasteners: 2
  • 3mm white beads: 5
  • 1/4-inch-wide white satin ribbon: 18 inches
  • 1/8-inch-wide yellow satin ribbon: 20 inches
  • 1/2-inch-wide decorative yellow button
  • Fray Check or other liquid seam sealant
