My friend asked me to make five different amigurumi Disney Princess dolls for her five daughters. Ariel has been a big hit and is the most requested by my friends, so I decided to make the pattern available on the Internet.
Something that sets this pattern apart: I wanted to give Rapunzel the "kawaii," big-head look, with super-cute face details and simplified, quick-to-make hair that captured the wavy, flowing style of the original movie character.
The doll does not stand on its own; however, a four-inch doll stand (sold separately) works great for display, if you wish.
Definitions of stitch abbreviations and materials list are included. Instructive photo illustrations included. Instructions in English for right-hand crochet.
10 single crochet stitches x 10 rows = about 2 inches square.

My goal is to provide the most accurate, detailed, and clear crochet instructions possible. I spend many hours writing, designing, proof-reading, and testing each pattern. Each pattern includes step-by-step photos to illustrate the text. I want your crochet experience with my patterns to be error-free, easy to understand, and creatively satisfying.
