All my life I've been busy with all kinds of crafting as a hobby and I have a creative job as a florist in my little hometown here in the Netherlands. A few years ago I rediscovered crocheting and I started designing my own crochet patterns. I hope you like my designs and enjoy crocheting them as much as I do !
Thanks for visiting and purchasing from my shop !
This PDF pattern will guide you to crochet a cute Christmas Tree Amigurumi Doll as shown in picture. This Christmas Tree will make a great hand made piece to decorate your home with.
Finished size will be approx. 10.5(tm) (26 cm) tall, made using acryllic yarn (8 ply / dk) and hook size E (3.5 mm).
If you wish to make a taller or smaller version of this tree, you can easily use thicker or thinner yarn / crochethook. This pattern is also suitable for wool or cotton yarn.
Instead of sewing all those bells on, you can thread them to your yarn and add them while crocheting. You can choose for yourself in which order of colours you(tm)ll thread them.
There will not be much sewing required to assemble this tree. The branches and body are crocheted together.
Used stitches : single crochet, half double crochet, bobble stitch.
Materials needed :
- Crochet hook size E (3.5 mm)
- Fiberfill stuffing , safety eyes 9 mm, small pieces of white felt,
- 44 small bells or beads, diameter approx. 0.60(tm) (1,5 cm)
- Yarn in the colours green (approx. 85 gram), small amounts of red, white and dark brown.
- Stitch marker, tapestry needle, pins, optional : sewing thread in the colours white and red.
Skill level : advanced beginner
Gauge is not important for this pattern, just crochet tight enough so your stuffing will not show through the stitches.
Pattern is my own original design, described in english, using US terminology.
