Bill the Owl Baby is inspired by a gorgeous children's book - The Owl Babies by Martin Waddell with wonderful illustrations by Patrick Benson. The book is perfect for bedtime with your little one. There he is, sitting on his old bit of ivy, waiting for his mommy to return.
A copy of the book and a soft cuddly owl would make a lovely present for a new baby too!
This pattern uses written instructions for all parts, with added diagrams and pictures to help along the way. There are also step by step photos detailing how to begin crochet, assemble the parts and finish the object. Skills used are working in a round, increasing, decreasing, chain stitches and slip stitches.
Finished owlet will measure around 14cm/5"5' when made in Patons Colour Works Aran (25g) yarn with 4.00mm hook.
