This is a fun 1960s trapeze-style dress with pockets. Included are instructions to make it for a slender fashion doll like Poppy Parker or a more curvy girl like vintage Barbie.

With size 3 steel hook: 9 sc = 1 inch; 11 rows or rnds = 1 inch

With size B hook: 8 sc = 1 inch; 9 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • fits 11 1/2-inch fashion doll


  • Size 10 crochet cotton: white and red (or white and blue)
  • Size 3 steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge (or size B hook)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sewing needle
  • White sewing thread
