Pattern Description:

Babette the Bashful Bunny is going to be a new type of pattern for me...she has an oversized tail, feet and ears. I love her feet and her left ear keeps her shielded from things that scare little bunnies. When she's too scared she holds her purple carrot close. Babette the Bashful Bunny is approximately 5 1/2" tall sitting, (height does not include her ears) depending on how loose/tight you crochet.

Gauge:

To be perfectly honest I never pay attention to the gauge when doing critters. Just know that if you use a thicker yarn and bigger hook, you're going to get a bigger critter (which is actually a great way to get a Mama or Papa critter!)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 5 1/2" tall sitting

Materials:

  • 1/2 skein of Lion Brand Homespun in Ambrosia
  • 1/4 skein of coordinating pink yarn
  • 1 yd of black yarn
  • 3 yds of white yarn
  • 3.75mm [US F] crochet hook
  • yarn needle
  • 2.5mm [US steel "O"] crochet hook

You Will Also Need:

  • 6mm safety eyes - two
  • 12" chenille stems - two
  • polyester filler for stuffing
