I love to create clothes for Barbie from different time periods. This pattern is for a swing coat, pencil skirt, and little hat, so Barbie can have a lovely autumn afternoon in the 1950s.

9 sc = 1 inch; 10 sc rows or rnds = 1 inch

  • fits Silkstone Barbie; should fit other Barbie sizes as well

Materials:

  • DMC Size 8 perle cotton (87 yds/80m per ball): 2 balls #0301 Medium Mahogany (available online at Herrschnerrs.com)
  • Size B/1/2.25mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Sewing needle

  • Size 3/0 snap fasteners: 4
  • 3/4-inch-wide sage green ribbon: 8 inches
  • 1/4-inch-wide sage green leaf-shaped button
