Hello! My name is Kvak.
I'm a friendly French frog or maybe just funny Russian guy.

I'm traveling a lot between France and Russia and still can't decide where to live.

Perhaps I could come to your house to live and be your friend.

Thanks to the wire frame inside of me I can bend my legs and arms. I can also cheer you up with different smiles.

This pattern available in English and Russian.

I use USA terminology for my pattern (Don't worry if your used to UK terms all the differences are explained in the pattern). This pattern is very easy to follow with step by step instruction

Make sure you crochet tight enough that the stuffing will not come out

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40-65 cm (16-25 inches) tall. (1,5 mm hook - 3,5 mm hook)


  • Hook 1,5 mm or 3,5 mm
  • Super Fine type green yarn (300 m or 328 yards) and small amount of white for eyes, pink for the mouth and red for the tongue.
  • or DK yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Needle (long)
  • Stitch marker.
  • Polyester fiberfill.
  • 2 small black beads for eyes
  • Thin medical plaster tape (1,25 cm (0,5 inches)) to secure wire ends (the one you use to cover wound).
  • Pliers for cutting and bending wire.
  • Please note you'll need aprox. 220 cm (85 inches) of wire if you use DK yarn
  • pproximately 150 cm (60 inches) long Single core copper PVC electrical wire 3 mm diameter in total (preferably white color to make sure it is not visible behind a stuffing).
