My best friend has just had the most beautiful baby girl Elsie - this blanket is designed with love for her.

Using a tricky looking but easy to make panel pattern, Elsie's Soft Wave Blanket is a mix of wave motifs joined in opposite directions to get a scalloped edge finished off with a gentle ruffle border.

The finished blanket measures 110cm square at the widest points and so is perfect as a wrap, shawl, cover equally suitable for special occasions or every day.

Welcome to HanJan Crafts

A few years ago I had an operation on my knee and couldn't go very far for 6 weeks so my Mum taught me to crochet and now I simply can't stop. It's gone from making gifts for friends to designing my own patterns and now I sell both my handmade items and patterns for others to share in their joy.
