A friend asked me if I could make a dog sweater. I thought about it and realized that I hadn't made my beloved, patient,
cat, Obi (means heart in Igbo, sash in Japanese), any annoying intrusive human or cuddly cat things. This hat is the 4th thing made in 4 days, beginning with a bed and followed by four decorative collars.
Obi has been very giving about allowing me to put on the hat.
Could also be New Year's or Party Hat.

Long, long ago, far, far away, when the subway cost a quarter and the corner drugstore was also an ice cream parlor where a little girl sipped vanilla egg creams, her mother, who made her wonderful clothes, showed her how to crochet. Her father taught her how to solder and make a tuner.
