Pattern Description:

I love penguins and thought they would make a cute baby blanket. Many pictures to get you started and step by step instructions.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 41" x 42" (1.0414 meters x 1.0668 meters)


  • Small amount of Black crochet cotton thread size #10- Bedspread weight
  • Small amount of Red crochet cotton thread Size #10- Bedspread weight
  • 12 oz. (340.194 grams) Blue worsted weight yarn
  • 12 oz.(340.194 grams) White worsted weight yarn
  • 6 oz.(170.097 grams) Black worsted weight yarn
  • 2 oz.(56.699 grams) Orange worsted weight yarn
  • 8 - 1/4" (6.35 millimeter) white bows for girl's head

You Will Also Need:

  • Size (I/9 -US) (5.50 mm) (5-UK) crochet hook
  • Size (7- US) (1.50 mm) (2.5-UK) steel crochet hook
  • Size (0-US) (2.25 mm) (00-UK) steel crochet hook
  • 8 - 6" (20.32 centimeters) lengths of 2" gathered lace
  • 8 - 1/4" ( white bows for girl's head
  • 8 - 1/2" (1.27 cm) black bows for boy's Bowtie
  • Darning needle
  • Sewing needle and white thread
