Here is a pattern for lovely, scrummy, cosy and soft chunky Autumn Cowl.
Oversized and warm as toast, you can wear it buttoned up or as a normal scarf/wrap - it's up to you.
With a strong but delicate fan and shell pattern, and a roll-down neckline, this will keep you warm in the coldest of weathers, and keep you looking great too!
As for size, adjusting it couldn't be easier. The shell pattern is made up of 7 sts. If you want it larger or smaller, increase/decrease the starting chain by any multiple of 7 and work to any length you desire. The pattern itself is a simple 2-row repeat so can be easily adapted.
You will need:
2 skeins of Chunky (5) yarn; 8mm crochet hook; 3 or 4 large buttons (25mm recommended).
This cowl is easy and quick to complete.
7 st Shell pattern measured 3" across, and 5 rows of shells measured 4"
280 yards of Chunky weight
