Is it at all possible to see the front of this pattern? I'm on the pouch part and have no idea where to place it.

I wonder, is the pouch just above the legs parts? Also, no instructions for the hood.

Barbara, on her website she states: OMGoodness, I had no idea that this was left off and I do not have the written part anymore. I can tell you that it is single crochet alternated with the x st. It is crocheted as a square then folded and sewn together at the top to make the hood. I will have to make this again and then write what the hooded pattern is, but it will be a while before I can get this done. I hope this helps you! Again, I am so sorry!!:

I completed one without the hood, came out real nice. I placed the pouch at the lower middle back, added the legs and complete!!! It's on my projects for you to see. Thanks

I'm not understanding the placement of the pouch. Does it go on the front above the border of the main piece. Also, the pouch doesn't have a border? Thank you. Not new to crocheting, just confused :)

I am nearly complete making this "Swaddle Me Baby" I have noted that the pattern steps in the making of the hood are not included ...my thoughts are that if I re-create your pouch portion in my chosen colors I can sew it to the top with the narrow side attached and sew the top/wider portion (fold and sew together) to make the top of the hood ...well I will play around with it to see if it may need tweeking to be used in this manner.....

HOOD: Count in 34 dc from beginning Row of swaddle. From both right and left sides this will leave the middle third area to work your hood in mark this area in your worked border with stitch markers of your choice... Join yarn with a sl st. Row 1 -10: repeat patterns used in swaddle until 10 rows have been completed.I repeated the same pattern that was out lined in the pouch portion...but Any pattern combo can be used that will be about the same height you wish to have Fold hook in half, right sides together and crochet or sew across top edge. Break yarn.add the edging around hood front .....hope This helped some its the way I decided to do it.........I First folded my swaddle into thirds to find middle third....dont Hold me responsible for failed projects....please
(There should be 7 shells on cape extending beyond either side of the hood). Do not break yarn. Fold hook
in half, right sides together and crochet or sew across top edge. Break yarn.

I was wondering if you had the pattern for the hood. I love this pattern and thank you very much for the free pattern. I've been looking for four days for something different to make for my niece.
