My name is Stefanie. My grandmother taught my mother, and then my mother taught me, the basics of knit and crochet. After going through college without really practicing, I decided to get back to this versatile craft. I chose to specialize in creating, then knitting and crocheting patterns from photos/drawings/writings/anything that I can see.
Now, I want to specialize in MiCrochet--crocheted embroidery floss. I have gained a surprising amount of experience in the short time since I've begun; looking back at projects in even a 6-month span shows progress like from the Stone Age to the Bronze. I don't know what kind of potential is left, but hopefully by the end of my life, I will improve to the Digital Age!
This pattern is of a simple heart, worked in the round. The pattern is a chart only. It can be used to make coasters or just decorations, depending on your hook size and chosen string. As single crochet, it amounts to 8 rows, or 16 stitches across, so the type of string can greatly affect its size and function.
It will also soon be available as part of a set of different but equally simple flowers!
None; size depends on your chosen strings and hook
