Pattern Description:

Whoooo wouldn't want an owl like this to keep your tea steaming hot !

This pattern will guide you to crochet this lovely tea cosy as shown on picture, it contains descriptions for making the coloured bobble stitches and the scallops.

The cover is made from soft acrylic yarn (wool or cotton will be suitable too) and crochethook G (4 mm). There will be an opening under the handle to insert your teapot easily, with a buttonclosure.
The cover will be placed over the teapot after pouring in your favourite tea.

The pattern is suitable for any standard model teapot, 1.1 liter, circumference appr. 40 cm (15.75 inch), measured around the widest part of the pot, excl. the spout and handle.

This pattern is my own original design and is written in english, in US terminology.

Used stitches : single crochet, half double crochet, 5 dc bobble stitch

Gauge : 5 single crochet = 1 inch (2.5 cm)

Finished size will be approx. 9.45 inch (24 cm) tall
