If you have been following Felted Button around for a while now, you might know these things about my designs already:
I LOVE COLOR!
I LOVE JOIN-AS-YOU-GO MOTIFS!
I LOVE PROVIDING OPTIONS IN MY CROCHET PATTERNS!
This RAINBOW SPRINKLES BLANKET has them all!!
This one is simply so much fun! The little spots of color falling through a field of white, growing larger as they fall into the colorful pile!! And the motifs are really simple to join-as-you-go--particularly because I provide a complete photo-tutorial of the joining process. Remember though, there is no need to print the picture section or use it at all if you are familiar with the whole JAYGO thing as written instructions are included in the pattern section.
As always, I have had my pattern thoroughly tested. Here is what one tester had to say about it:
I think you did an excellent job in creating two placement diagrams, most patterns would only include ONE. This gives a person the option to pull out markers on the "blank" if they want to play with color before spending time on the actual blanket! EXCELLENT in my opinion.
I really enjoyed this pattern, Susan. Not only easy to remember, but has a wonderful texture and fun stitching so that it doesn't get boring.
Bust your stash, use colors that suit your style, and have a blast with this colorful sprinkle of color!
The pattern includes:
--stitch abbreviations, detailed notes and special stitches section
--complete list of materials
--a picture section (no need to print) to help through the join-as-you-go process
--two color placement diagrams: one in full-color just as the sample blanket, one without color but labeled to help you use yarns of your choice and really make it your own
Due to the nature of patterns, this pattern may not be returned or exchanged. All sales are final. This pattern may not be redistributed or copied in any way.
Finished items may be sold, I just ask that you give credit to me, Susan Carlson at FeltedButton.com for the pattern.

Cheerful, Creative, Crocheter and Collector of all things Colorful describes me to a C--er, I mean a T. My sweet, left-handed granny taught me (a righty) to crochet when I was but a youngster. My first project was a hideously long scarf for my dad. It seems I just didn't know when to stop--something my teachers told me in school, too! Although crochet and other craftiness have always been part of my life, I channeled my energy and creativity into teaching Jr. High and High School sciences for many years.
When I am not "yarning" (as described by my youngest), I treasure time with my family, friends, running, thrift store shopping, and learning new creative skills.
