Basic Skills Necessary:

  • I would rate this as a VERY advanced beginner crocheter. You can make several with the amount of yarn given in the pattern! Great project to use up your stash yarn!
  • I highly recommend making a swatch for this pattern to practice the stitch!

Pattern Description:

Not many things make the heart soar and your face smile than a rainbow! This gorgeous blanket will be loved by any boy or girl! Not your typical, super bright colors but a slightly muted colorway that still is sure to delight!

Pick traditional, primary colors, or, for the more modern mommy, soft creams, chocolates and turquoise! Shades of all the same color would look terrific too! Five or six shades of blue or pink! Shades of grey and yellows are stunning! The sky's the limit!

Color photos included! I am always available for help! I would HIGHLY suggest doing a large, one color, practice swatch before committing to the larger blanket! Cast on 31 and practice for about a foot or so! This is what I did myself and I'm glad I did!

Not just for babies! Toddlers love them too! Easily make larger or smaller to fit your needs!
